I am a ceramic artist who works to instil beauty and ceremony in my life. To live a life that feels tender, deliberate, and interwoven with the natural world around me. While I love to create in all kinds of mediums, when I felt clay under my fingers for the first time, it felt like a homecoming. Here was something tactile, here was a mark I could leave upon the earth. Or rather, here was the earth, marking me.
I believe wholeheartedly that the objects we interact with most every day should be beautiful, functional, and pleasurable to use. I hope to offer that- to create pieces of functional and sustainable beauty that help you to pause and find enjoyment in the moment you are in.

Sweet Earth Ceramics is based out of my home studio in Murillo ON. When not in the studio I can be found chasing after my toddler, trying to keep our dog from getting into the chicken coop, and growing flowers and veggies with mixed success.
